Title: | Land subsidence from geo-resources exploitation: evidences from InSAR and GPS observations | Issue Date: | 27-Jun-2017 | URL: | http://www.enea.it/it/seguici/events/ait_27-28giu17/Montuori_1.pdf | Keywords: | Subsidence Hydrocarbon exploitation |
Abstract: | In this work we exploit multi-temporal Differential Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (DInSAR) and Global Positioning System (GPS) analyses to study surface deformation processes along areas interested by the exploitation of subsurface geo-resources. SAR and GPS surface deformation velocities and time series are effectively compared with hydrogeological and hydrocarbon production data, providing information to discriminate the main drivers of surface deformation. |
