Abstract
Il Progetto ISES (Intrusione Salina E Subsidenza) nasce nel 1999 per iniziativa congiunta della Provincia di Venezia e del CNR-ISDGM con lo scopo di approfondire gli studi relativi ai processi di intrusione di acque saline nel sottosuolo e di subsidenza che coinvolgono in modo assolutamente preoccupante molte aree del bacino scolante meridionale della laguna di Venezia. ISES è finanziato dalle Province di Venezia e Padova; dal Comune di Chioggia; dal CNR; dal Magistrato alle Acque di Venezia; dai Consorzi di Bonifica Adige-Bacchiglione, Bacchiglione-Brenta, e Delta Po-Adige ed è patrocinato dall’Autorità di bacino del Fiume Adige e dal Consorzio di Bonifica Polesine-Adige Canal Bianco.
L’area di studio ISES appartiene dunque al bacino scolante meridionale, ma per quanto concerne l’altimetria è stato possibile quotare e analizzare l’intera rete di livellazione che si estende nel territorio.
