Abstract: This work presents "Life as researcher", the Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro experience observed from 2015 to 2018 by some high school students, between the Geophysical Museum of Rocca di Papa and the Rome office of INGV. The proposed laboratories had the aim of increasing the ability to identify the geological risks associated with the territory of residence, deepening the basic knowledge of geosciences. The workshops offered to students divided between "experimental teaching" that equips them with geological skills and practical experience based on "creative work", made them architects of didactic-scientific games for children between 10 and 14 years of age. In order to improve the educational offer for children between 15 and 18 years of age, the functionalities and critical issues found in the proposed methodologies will be illustrated, useful for improving the interaction between the world of research, the world of school and civil society.
