Abstract
In this paper we show results from the combinantion of GPS and CGPS data to estimate the velocity and strain fields across the Messina Straits. Data from CGPS networks of ASI, RING and ITALPOS together with GPS data collected since 1980 during repeated campaigns and recently in the frame of the "Progetto Messina" funded by DPC, are discussed and interpreted to improve the current kinematics of this seismic area.
