Biography
Domenico Cicchella is an Associate Professor of Geochemistry at the University of Sannio and Associate Editor of Journal of Geochemical Exploration (ELSEVIER Ltd.). He received a PhD in Environmental Geochemistry from University of Naples “Federico II” in 2003. His current research interest include multi-media, multi-element regional geochemistry, site characterization and remediation and statistical data analysis. Domenico took part in FOREGS Geochemical Task Group Programme that is part of the IUGS/IAGC Global Geochemical Baselines, which aims at the compilation of geochemical maps of the Earth Globe. He also has actively collaborated with Geochemistry Expert Group of EurogeoSurvey on studying the geochemistry of European bottled water and at realization of Mapping of agricultural and grazing land soil of Europe. Cicchella is the author of several geochemical atlases and more than 70 publications in international journals and periodicals (H-index = 31).
