dc.description.abstractFollowing studies which give complete compilations of declination and inclination data for some European sites, this paper presents the geomagnetic field behaviour in Bucharest, over more than two centuries. The paper also discusses all the early survey measurements (declination, D, inclination, I, horizontal component, H) made in Romania, since the end of the nineteenth century.en
