Editorial

With this special issue we propose a field of enquiry on multidisciplinary approaches to Artificial Intelligence Tools. The importance of Artificial Intelligence Tools is in the quest to develop algorithms and systems with a human autonomous level of intelligence. To this aim, the International Conference on Tools with Artificial
Intelligence (ICTAI) — held every year, and at its 28th edition — is not only a testimonial of this quest, it is also a proof of this never-ending need to improve human–machine interactions.
