Master’s Degree in Astrophysics.
Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technology focused on Remote Sensing.
More than five years of experience in Remote Sensing techniques for Earth Observation.
Current tasks:
• Prototyping of product generation functions, preparation of representative test datasets for verification and validation purposes
• Generation and refinement of processing algorithms and product specifications for the processing chains, including definition of file formats and auxiliary data streams.
Other research interests:
• Satellite SAR Sea Surface Wind Field Retrieval
• Generation of gridded data from swath-based microwave remotely sensed
measurements for climatological purposes and to retrieve ocean-related
geophysical variables
• Methods to solve inverse problems arising in microwave remote sensing.
