Since then, he is member of the GNSS research group at the Royal Observatory of Belgium (ROB) and he works on the interaction between the Earth's neutral atmosphere and Space Geodesy techniques. From 1999 to 2006, he has taken part in the European Cooperation in the Field of Scientific and Technical Research (COST) Action 716 "Exploitation of ground-based GPS for climate and numerical weather prediction applications" and to the European Commission TOUGH project "Targeting Optimal Use of GPS Humidity Measurements in Meteorology". Since 2005, he is responsible for the Belgian (geodetic) contribution to the EUMETNET EIG GNSS Water Vapour Program (E-GVAP). In 2010, he received his doctor's degree in exact Sciences from the UCL for his works in GNSS-meteorology. Today, he works at ROB in the framework of the Solar-Terrestrial Centre of Excellence (STCE). He is also - Member of the geodetic expert team of the EUMETNET EIG GNSS Water Vapour Program (E-GVAP), - Member of the International GNSS Service (IGS) troposphere working group, - Member of the IAG Working Group 4.3.3, - Vice-chair of the IAG WG 4.3.7 "Real-time GNSS tropospheric products" (2015-2019), - Vice-chair of the IAG JWG 4.3.8 "GNSS tropospheric products for Climate" (2015-2019), and - Co-chair of the working group 2 within the COST Action ES1206 Advanced Global Navigation Satellite Systems tropospheric products for monitoring severe weather events and climate (GNSS4SWEC).
