Biography
VINCENZO SAPIENZA is assistant professor of Building Construction at the University of Catania (Sicily-Italy). He belongs to the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture of which he is the past Vice-Head. He has the chair of “Architecture Technology I” and the related Design Laboratory, for the course of Bachelor of Building-Architecture and he has had the chair of “History of Modern Architecture”, for the same course.
He belongs to the Scientific Committee of the Italian journals “MODULO - progetto, tecnologia, prodotto”, "Scienza e Società" and “Tecnica e Ricostruzione”.
He has carried out many scientific research, that can be grouped in three main subjects: Innovative Technologies, Energy Requalification and History of Construction.
