Biography
I graduated at the Ferrara University in Civil Engineering in February 2002 discussing a thesis on the application of space borne interferometry in landslides monitoring. In 2002 I started to work as researcher with a scholarship founded by Research Institute for Geo-Hydrological Hazardventi Protection (IRPI) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR). In 2007 I received the Ph.D. at the Department of Earth Sciences of the University of Florence. I have experience in landslide risk assessment and the development and integration of techniques to monitor deformations and to manage hydrogeological emergencies. My researches are especially focussed on DiNSAR techniques, GNSS and remote sensing techniques to monitor surface displacements of unstable slopes. I took part actively in projects founded by the European Union. In 2008 I spent a year as guest researcher at Chalmers University of Technology, Göteborg, Sweden, after been awarded a grant and in 2009 my researches on the ground lev
