Biography

My career is dedicated to all aspects of satellite wind measurements. From new concepts, design, cal/val, wind retrieval optimization and on-the-fly operational production to applications and training in weather nowcasting, NWP data assimilation, climate data records, ocean forcing and air-sea interaction. I am involved in many international projects: ESA ADM Aeolus Doppler Wind Lidar EUMETSAT Scatterometer wind processing software (OSI SAF) EUMETSAT Scatterometer wind production (NWP SAF) Wind energy Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service (CMEMS) GNSS-R I'm a Senior IEEE member.
