Biography
Assistant Professor at Dipartimento di Psicologia, Università degli Studi della Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli". He has received the Laurea degree in Computer Science (cum laude) from University of Salerno in 2002. rom 2002 to 2006, he has attended the PhD Program in Computer Science at the Dipartimento di Informatica ed Applicazioni of the University of Salerno (ITALY) (Advisors: Alberto Negro and Vittorio Scarano). From March 2005 to November 2005 he has been Research-Scholar at the Department of Computer Science, University of Massachusettes at Amherst MA, USA, doing research activity under the supervision of Distinguished Professor Arnold L. Rosenberg. He has received the PhD degree on April 2006, discussing a thesis on Peer-to-Peer (P2P) systems. From May 2006 to March 2011, he has been Post-Doctoral fellow (Assegnista di Ricerca) at the Dipartimento di Informatica of the University of Salerno, cooperating in the research activity of the ISISLab laboratory. His research interests focus on Distributed Algorithms, Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Systems, Small World Networks, Internet-based Computing, Social networks, Social interaction and emotional exchanges.
