Biography
I am a field geologist who uses GPS and GIS technologies to understand past sea level changes. In my research, I collaborate with Earth modelers to understand the role of isostatic and tectonic (e.g. dynamic topography) processes that cause post-depositional displacement of the sea level markers observed in the field. I also have a broader interest in the application of new field techniques (such as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) and GIS analyses to investigate environmental issues, such as habitat mapping or coastal erosion and extreme wave events.
