New concept in global tectonics endorses two-layered lithosphere: Primary Layer: One that covers all of the Earths surface,and Secondary Layer: One that exists on top of Primery layer and consists of Earths continents (originated as Pangea). Therefor,covering aproximetly one quarter of Earths surface. |
