Abstract: In this work, authors face the problem of reading singularities of the geomagnetic field in noisy underwater environment. The theoretical basis is the concept of spatial stability of geomagnetic field's temporal variations in the measurement area. The solution adopted consists in the development and employment of a measurement system self-informed (the acquired signal from each sensor is compared with the signal acquired by the adjacent sensor). In this paper the authors show the results obtained, which demonstrated the ability of self-informed systems to read weak electromagnetic signals even if superimposed to very high environmental noise.
